Avoid dropping your foam board sign or placing any objects directly on top of it in storage. Your banner can have a flush cut or welded hem edge finish. Flush cut is for banners that do not have an edge finish, which means the banner is cut to the same size as the design.

Unfortunately, it is a shipping industry rule of thumb and there are no alternative options to ship such large signs. We print using large format industrial size printers, so your sign cannot be any smaller than 4” x 4”. Any sign smaller than 4”x 4 risks reduced clarity of the printed design. The maximum size of any custom foam board sign is 94” x 46”. As foam board consists of a paper face on either side, we strongly recommend using it only indoors. Careful handling when moving, displaying, and storing of foam board signs will help prevent tearing or damaging the sign.

Keep it away from any sharp objects that may scratch the printed surface or acrylic. When storing your acrylic sign, cover it with soft fabric or packaging wrap to protect it from scratches. Do not place any objects on or against your acrylic sign during storage.

Thus, your sign will be limited in some regards in how high off the ground you will be able to display it unless you install it using a different method. Aluminum signs, vinyl banners, and permanent decals for example, just need to be wiped with soap and water. Other signs such as feather flags, fabric banners, and teardrop flags are machine-washable. These are wind-resistant banners that have 70% blockage and 30% air flow because of the holes that allow wind to go through.

While we offer free shipping on all orders over $99, the exception is any order that is determined by the carrier to be oversized or requires freight shipping. Depending on the size of your signs they may require additional packaging care and oftentimes require being shipped via freight shipping. Thus, costs for shipping such signs can go up significantly.

Foam board signs will have some pliability regardless of size. Though bigger signs tend to be more bendable, it is important to treat them with care to prevent damage regardless of size. If you are looking for something more durable and long-lasting, consider using our rigid plastic signs instead. They are made up of two .008” aluminum sheets and a solid polyethylene core. In our experience the 3 mm aluminum signs are extremely durable and sufficiently thick for nearly all uses. It is possible that your sign will show minimal bends, but this can depend on the size of the sign itself. Whether you order a small or large sign signs of toxic fathers the pliability with the acrylic should not be a concern for day-to-day use. Keep in mind that acrylic is not glass but a hard plastic.
You can find the standoff options at the configuration section of your sign prior to designing your acrylic sign. Select your preferred standoff to ensure they arrive with your order.
